In an inspiring effort to combine art and advocacy, our NGO recently hosted a Youth Drama Festival focused on raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. Several school and community theatre groups performed original plays that highlighted real-life struggles, peer pressure, and the power of positive choices.

The event brought together over 300 students, parents, and educators. Judges praised the creativity and emotional depth of the performances, while attendees appreciated the powerful storytelling that made the anti-drug message hit home.

“Drama gives youth a voice to express how drugs affect their lives and communities,” said Mr. Nimal, one of the organizers.

By using performance to educate and inspire, the festival proved that awareness can be engaging and impactful.
