Our NGO recently launched a school-based awareness initiative aimed at promoting respect and understanding of gender identity among students and educators. Held across several schools in the region, the sessions were interactive and youth-friendly, encouraging students to speak openly about gender diversity, acceptance, and equality.

Facilitators used stories, visual materials, and role-play to help break down stereotypes and answer questions in a safe and respectful environment. Many students expressed that it was their first opportunity to learn about non-binary and transgender identities in a supportive setting.

Teachers and school counselors were also involved, helping to reinforce inclusive values within the school environment. As a result, the program helped reduce stigma and created more compassionate and inclusive spaces for all students—regardless of gender identity.
